my mirror saw something I couldn't
So this happened few years ago when my mom was working the graveyard shift at a hotel and I was by myself.
I woke up at 12 am one night to get a drink of water. when I got into my room I looked at my mirror to see a figure crawling on the ceiling down the hallway to my room I freaked out and turned around to see nothing I got confused and looked back at my mirror and the figure was looking at me from the ceiling in my door way. I closed my door and went back to bed thinking I was seeing things because of how tired I was. At 3 am I woke up again to see the figure sitting on the end of my bed staring at me. I pulled the covers over my head and went back to sleep hoping I would wake up in the morning.
I don't know what category this should be in. I've told other people about my experience and most believe me but there are some don't. it is what it is. thanks for listening.
These beings are most seen in abandoned asylums and hospitals. They feed off the suffering of the deranged and sick. If they are seen elsewhere it is usually because where they are is built over an old hospital/asylum, renovated from an old one, or near one. But prefer the cacophonous energies swirling from decades or centuries of suffering as they can manifest almost fully from such energy. Outside of this field they lose cohesion in this universe.
When they roam, they sense a truly deranged or suffering person who may have checked into the hotel or staying at a home. Or are starving and seeking out another meal. They are almost impossible to see, even if they wish it, unless certain things in the mind are wired a certain way. Such as an insane person or someone with rare genetics or deep intuition. And they almost always can only be seen in a reflective surface, if at all. They will become very interested in anyone who notices them, in Hopes of finding their next meal. But since it passed on and only watched it determined you aren't nearly demented or sick enough to feed on.
So a mixed blessing. I am sorry you had to endure that. But I can say you'll be safe from this baddie.
