Not sure what the fuck I just saw... (self.Paranormal)
This happened roughly 15 minutes ago and I am confused as well as somewhat freaked out.
I drove to a small settlement about 20 minutes outside the city to pick up a friend from her trailer. I was sitting in my vehicle in front of her home waiting for her to come to the vehicle.
I had my brights on as the settlement sits mostly in the dark, and the roads leading to it are very dark. The settlement only houses a few people, so I was not concerned about my headlights being a problem.
While I was sitting there having a smoke when I saw some kind of shadow moving just on the edge of where my headlights were shining. At first I assumed it was a neighbour wandering in the snow, but soon realized this wasn't the case.
I could tell that it had stopped as I could see it standing just outside the light. It was the size of a young child, maybe 8 or 9, and was wearing all black. After standing there for a minute or so it began to... Limp away? That's the best way to describe it. It sort of... Waltzed awkwardly across the road and stopped again, this time illuminated by my headlights.
It had very few noticeable features, but the thing that absolutely freaked me out was it's lack of an arm. Where it's right arm/shoulder should be is nothing. It looked as though someone had cut from the end of its neck down to its waist - half the fucking torso was missing. It seemed to lean awkwardly on the missing side, giving it the illusion of hunching over. The legs were very thin and almost looked curved or warped.
I know it wasn't turned at a weird angle making it look that way as it was facing my vehicle head on. I stared at it trying to make sense of its body structure, and before I could get of my car it waddled out of sight, towards the train tracks in the field behind the trailers - where a train was currently passing by.
My friend came out to the car and I told her what happened. Before I could finish she asked if it was missing an arm. I freaked out and said yes, somewhat glad I wasn't losing my mind.
She said that her son (7) has been claiming to see the same thing at night. She figured he was just being difficult as he is autistic. She was so scared by what I said that she decided to stay home and be with him.
I have no idea what the fuck I saw, but whatever it was I wasn't the only one seeing it. I am going to attempt to draw it when I get home, and I'll post it here.
I think the thing that freaked me out most was the fact that it's breath wasn't frosted. It's very cold out here and you can see your breath very easily. This thing to blow a single puff of frosted air. It was as though it wasn't breathing at all. It didn't even leave foot trails in the snow.
Fuck that.
I'm usually very skeptical and will more often than not attempt to explain away anything posted here.
I can honestly say I have no explanation for what I saw. I have never seen anything like it. It was seriously nightmare fuel.
TL/DR - Saw something straight out of a Silent Hill game.
