Burnt Face

Creepiest thing you've ever had happen to you? : Paranormal

I used to live in my grandmother's house in her fully furnished basement with my mom. A lot of things happened down there so I'll only write about the creepy ones.

One night, I remember my aunt used to come home around 1-2 am from her boyfriends and she'd come downstairs to have a cigarette. So this one particular night, I heard footsteps and assumed it was her but what was strange was there was also whistling. I didn't think anything of it until the footsteps coming downstairs, the laundry room light turned on and I didn't hear footsteps going back up. I was freaked out but I didn't want to investigate. I think that was the start of weird, nonchalant activity such as I would start hearing running coming from upstairs at odd hours of the night or a piano playing when we didn't have one.

I also remember I had a dream about being locked in the attic and someone with a burnt face told me they were going to take me.. (relevant) so a couple weeks later, I was playing with barbies and recording them when my digital camera started acting crazy and I threw it because I got so scared. The batteries fell out and I put them back in and found two pictures I haven't ever seen before... It was a picture (I'll see if I can find it if anyone wants) it was pitch black except for this pinkish figure of a face that looked as if it was burnt staring into the camera and after seeing that, I never used that camera anymore.

Another terrifying experience was I fell asleep in the second living room where the walls are pretty much windows, viewing the backyard and if you were to go to the backyard and stand by the window, your head would be showing and that's saying if you're around 5'3. So I woke up around 5am to scratching noises on the window... I literally see a stick being dragged across the windows and I run out of the room because all I'm thinking about is how could a stick be dragging across the window if I couldn't see a person's head?

We moved to an apartment that was above a psychic for a brief period. And this place had the most malicious feel to it. I remember I was sitting on the couch and my dog started to act extremely weird. She started to walk backwards into the corner of the couch and I was wondering what was wrong with her until I heard something shaking on the wall which was a part of a knife collection my mom's boyfriend at the time had... It started shaking almost violently and just fell directly onto the ground and as I was focused on that, wondering how could only that one fall off. Right behind me, a picture fell directly behind my head and that's when I had enough and took my dog for a walk. And the other scary moment was I was in bed and rolled over to see a boy in a school outfit with a bluish tint to his face staring at me and I THOUGHT I WAS CRAZY AND ROLLED BACK OVER AND CLOSED MY EYES. That was truly scary for me.

In our new house, we lived in the woods. Everyone was at work and I was around 18 at the time. I heard footsteps in the house just shuffling around. I stayed in my room because I was so terrified. I went out to see that my mom's slippers she left by the door were now by the fireplace. Another incident was my closet door was so difficult to open, you literally had to pull on it to open it. One day, I was at my computer when this door just flung open and I didn't know how to explain to myself it was just a coincidence to make myself feel better. There were also handprints on the TV that were unexplained. The same things would also happen in the house we moved to after that.

I don't know and I don't think I'll ever know if something was following me from childhood but I've had many paranormal experiences. As an adult, I tried to shut it out. Sorry this was so long but I felt like sharing.
