I (and my family) truly believe my mother’s house is haunted. Here is the list:

1.) I saw a naked woman in my bedroom when I was five. I woke up from a bad dream and called out to my mom. A woman walked into the room and she was completely naked except one side of her was completely decayed. I cried out for my mom and the woman looked at her hands, cried out in sadness, and floated through the closed bedroom door. My mom came in soon after to console me, but I was inconsolable. I still remember her.

2.) My brother used to see a man in his doorway. The same large man was seen in my sisters doorway as well. When I got older and moved into her room (when she moved out), I saw the same man when I was about 20. I thought it was a burglar, but all the doors were locked.

3.) My brother hears whispers coming from the furnace room. I also heard whispers there one night.

4.) My mom was woken up to a man crying in her home. She thought it was me and kept saying, “let me get my robe on honey, I’ll be right out.” She said the crying was right outside her door. When she opened the door, the crying stopped.

5.) My niece used to see a little girl in the house when she was little.

6.) My mom says she feels a presence often while she’s watching TV in the house.

7.) I was there last week to help clean the house while my mom was at the hospital. I kept seeing someone walking by doors out of the corner of my eye. I was the only one there.

8.) My husband, a skeptic, heard someone stomping around the basement throwing boxes around. I was upstairs and no one else was in the house. He called out to me and when he heard me respond in the living room, he got freaked out and said, “I’m not going in that basement.”
