Destroyed Lock

Well, since I know the feel of wanting to hear real accounts, I'll leave my personal experience here. It's long but every part is pretty important, to me at least.

I was cruising Netflix after a heated argument in my one bedroom apartment's living room. My ex of three years (we split that night) was sleeping in our bedroom with the door shut. What happened next didn't happen immediately.

For about 45 minutes, I felt the apartment go "stale". It was such a thick, horrible feeling... distracting, too. As soon as I clicked on something to watch, my locked apartment door swung open, violently knocking the pictures of my ex and I to the ground.

I (for some reason) said, "What the fuck dude?" and without a moments hesitation I heard an older male voice whisper something.

Spelled phonetically it sounded like, "SUHHHHHHhhhhhh...".

My cat flew into the air (looked kinda funny but I was too scared to laugh) and bolted off into the bathroom as the voice trailed off and I checked the hallway outside. My ex woke up thinking I was throwing stuff around out of anger or something.

No wind. No people. Lock on our door destroyed.

I called apartment security and it was fixed that night. I also made a police report. Such a long night. I also think my ex didn't believe me, initially.

The next day, I left early for work and got back around 3 PM. The door was cracked open, everything was still there and there was cat food everywhere on our kitchen counter/floor trailing towards the door.

Apparently while my ex was pouring the cats food, she heard the same voice but to her it sounded more like "sorry".

She was so scared that she ran out of our apartment crying. She got home shortly after I did and pretty much broke down in my arms asking what was going on. I wanted so badly to know why things were happening like that as well and wanted to try not to be scared, for her sake if anything.

Everything stopped after that. We split, moved out and everything just kept going on like normal. Every once and a while I pass by that apartment complex and get the heebie-jeebies still. Anyone have input or questions about it? Every time I've tried to tell a friend or co-worker they think I'm just trying to tell a spooky story for kicks. It's kind of frustrating.
